95th New York Infantry Reunion


Reunion photo at Gettysburg monument This reunion image was taken by Tipton at the Gettysburg battlefield - at the Railroad Cut on New York Day, July 1st, 1893, (30th Ann. of the battle).  It is composed of all 95th vets and their families.  The Medal of Honor recipient, Richard Smith, is at the far left holding the flag.

The flag which is seen in the background of this page is the original flag used by the 95th at the battle of Gettysburg. It has been restored and is on permanent display in the Rockland County Fire Training School.
